Familiar with Big Bang Theory? It’s Stuart! I was invited to be a guest artist for the grand opening of Speedy Comics at City Walk 2 in Dubai. Part of this store opening, there were also other guest celebs such as Brandon Routh and Bob Layton attending. This was an honor to be part of! During the night, I got chatting with Kevin about life stuff and dealing with the industry. He had a lot to share! It was a deep chat and one I really enjoyed having with him.

For those unfamiliar, Bob Layton is responsible for the evolution and development of who Tony Stark and Iron-Man is today along with many other great feats! Bob is quite the character. I’m a big fan of Brandon Routh’s casting as Superman in Superman Returns so this was a huge occasion for me. This was all thanks to Speedy Comics for having invited me to be one of their special guests as part of their retail store grand opening at City Walk 2 in Dubai. On my trip to San Diego Comic Con in 2014 I had the opportunity to meet another of my inspirations - Adam Hughes! My first experience was joining a live drawing session he had in one of the conference rooms which was full of spectators. I remember asking him a question during the Q&A session at the end - if after all of his success if he really felt like he had truly arrived. I met Andy (MARVEL Studios Director of Visual Development) and his wife, Ana on a trip to Mexico for La Mole in March 2018 on an excursion of the Teotihuacan Pyramids (with all of the shows guests). I had also met Sabine Rich soon after arriving in Mexico (Marvel and DC comic artist and colorist, also known for her colours with Frank Cho).
